Ganapathi is an Indian Entrepreneur and chief executive of Agira technologies. In 2016, he quit his job and formed a team to serve SMEs and startups with cutting edge technology development. As an enthusiastic people’s leader, he has been a strong foundation and a catalyst for change and innovation in software development.
With great exposure to working with multinational companies, he was committed to growth and bringing ideas into reality. Apart from being an energetic entrepreneur, he also invested time for social causes and was always happy to help for those who seek need. Ganapathi died on May 1, 2020, due to heart attack.
Ganapathi was born on May 9, 1980, to Mr. Manthiram and Mrs. Sivagami. He is the eldest son of the family and has a younger sister, Priya. Born and brought up in Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu. Ganapathi’s father, Manthiram, worked as a bank officer, and mother was a homemaker.
Education was his key to explore new things and never-ending quench for knowledge. He showed interest in literature, politics, travel. Growing up, he revolved with discipline and intuitive thoughts over the values and principles of leading a meaningful life.
Ganapathi has always been a smart and creative thinker. In 1996, he completed schooling at Schaffter higher Secondary School located in Tirunelveli. Later obtained a bachelor’s degree in physics. With developing passion for technologies, he joined masters in Computer applications from reputed educational institutions. Ganapathi was capable to analyze complex things better than people of his age.
He always dared to achieve his goals through positive thoughts & actions and loves a healthy competition. Being a student, he loved to be a winner. Starting from, extracurricular, sports events, and essay contests, Ganapathi has earned a collection of more than 500 certifications and medals from various such events.
Working with multinational companies in India as well as in the USA, he was spanning over various phases of product development and product life cycle. His understanding of the client’s needs and instinct to face challenges were his strength. Different job roles helped him grow faster in the hierarchy of the organizations.
In every stage of his career development, he nourished his dream of entrepreneurship. Over 15 years, he explored and shared his knowledge to help others grow in the process, and his dedication towards technologies made his dream come true. In 2016, He started a new software venture, Agira technologies.In 2019, while Offering an award to Mr. Rajasekar Sundaresan, CEO of Pixalive, he said, “India needs new-age entrepreneurs, as they are the modern freedom fighters to keep the economy stronger.”
Ganapathi’s loving wife is Pallavi Thayammal. A match made in heaven united by their parent’s blessings. Currently, his family resides in Chennai. Mrs. Pallavi is a software engineer. They have two beautiful kids, Sivamaitreyi and Siva Sabari. He was much of a caring Husband and great dad to his children until his end of time.
Being way too young to leave his loved ones, he held dreams of the brightest future. He always wanted his children to experience the real freedom of thought and encouraged them to bring out their way of life. Ganapathi loved his family and cherished life with them.
Ganapathi was an avid reader with special love towards Tamil literature. His writings are intertwined with contrary views and intellectual thoughts. He always carried a pleasant smile and tried to greet every possible person who passes by him with integrity.Gana strived to be different and explored everything that came on his way. He was always ready to mentor and shared his knowledge with budding professionals. He never owes a success as his own but likes to celebrate it as a team and likes to keep others smiling.
On the other side of this CEO, He was a whole new man. Ganapathi took social responsibilities seriously as the President of the Rotary Club Mardas North division. He relished the act of giving more than receiving. He had a particular focus on fitness with eating principles to lead a healthy life. He showed interest and offered exclusive speeches for school children and young adults.With his positive outlook towards life and impressive talks, he earned a special place in everyone’s heart. The News of his death is still unacceptable and shocking. Ganapathi had bigger dreams, and big dreams always win. His hopes and vision have now become our guiding force for the Agira’s growth in the upcoming future. May his soul rest in peace.
